Last Week, Reception-Year 6 were lucky enough to receive a taster session from a Judo instructor.
We had a great time and managed to learn lots in our short sessions.
Today, in Coach’s PE lesson, Nursery were practising their catching skills by using balloons. They used different body parts to keep the balloon in the air and tried hard to make sure the balloons never touched the floor.
This week in Year 1 we are exploring pumpkins. Today we investigated our 4 pumpkins that had mysteriously arrived in our class. For Maths we estimated how many seeds we thought would be in each pumpkin. It was brilliant fun!
We love exploring sound in the Nursery. Mrs Elliott shared one of her favourite songs called “Music, Music, Music” with the children. They needed to tap along to the music and follow the instructions.
They were fantastic!

We can’t wait to hear their next number!
It may have rained but that didn’t dampen our festival. We moved our Harvest Festival to the Hall and enjoyed listening to the true meaning of harvest.
A big thank you to everyone for generously donating food which was gratefully recieved by Hospitality and Hope.
As part of their work with the Anglo-Saxons, Year 5 have looked at the jewellery they had. We have tried to recreate the amazing brooches we saw by designing and making our own Anglo-Saxon brooches. They are made from clay, painted with gold paint and decorated with gems. We are very impressed with the end products.
