History

History at Marsden

3rd October 2022M Hanratty

At Marsden Primary School, we aim to deliver an exciting and engaging history curriculum which inspires children to learn about Britain and the Wider World’s past. We believe that learning about what has happened in the past can help children make sense of their place in the world and broaden their knowledge and understanding of other cultures. The skills that children will learn in history will enable them to become critical thinkers who can analyse evidence, understand and reflect upon changes in society and how as responsible citizens, they can play an important role in continuing to shape the world around them.
