At Marsden Primary School, we aim to deliver an exciting and inspiring Physical Education curriculum which provides children with the skills, tools and understanding required to make a long-lasting impact on their physical health and well-being. We believe that all children should have the opportunity to experience and compete in a wide variety of sports in order to build character, resilience and stamina; whilst teaching children to cope with successes and failures too. The skills that children learn in PE promote self-esteem, fairness and respect. They also develop leadership qualities by teaching pupils that they can perform with increasing confidence and competence in a range of individual, team and competitive sports.
