Foundation Stage had a fantastic time on our visit to St Mary’s Lighthouse and the Blue Reef Aquarium. After learning all about ‘Under the Sea’ at school, we enjoyed looking at the  sea creatures and even got to touch a starfish, sea urchin and crab in the touch pool.  We spent the morning on the beach, searching in the rock pools and some of us were lucky enough to find a lobster! We then enjoyed our dinner on the grass overlooking the sea, before going back on the coach to the aquarium, where we saw otters, clown fish and many other sea creatures. Foundation Stage staff would like to thank all of our reception parents and grandparents for making our visit possible and we would like to thank our nursery parents and grandparents for joining us on the trip.
