The Year 6 children had written letters to her as part of their debate on where new houses should be build in our area. In her role as Labour party MP for South Shields she came to talk to us about what she thought and also to give us an insight into what life is like in the Houses of Parliament.
We asked some very challenging questions and enjoyed hearing her responses.
Here are a few pictures of the day and also a couple of questions and answers.
