We had a fantastic time dressing up as our favourite characters for World Book Day.
We had an exciting morning, reading with our friends in Year Five and designing our own book covers. Then we got to make our own pirate treasure maps in the afternoon. It was a great day!

Wow, what a busy morning we’ve had in Year Four! First swimming, then a quick change into our costumes before reading to our friends in Reception!
With the help of parents and grandparents, Year 5 designed and manufactured their own space rockets on Thursday morning. We had a lovely morning and the final rockets produced were amazing! Thank you to everyone who brought in junk for us to use – final rockets and team photos to follow.
Year 5 had an exciting day dressing up for world book day and even designed their own comic strip adventure for book characters.

Thank you to everyone who was able to make it to the Year One Phonics Screening meeting yesterday.
If anyone was unable to make the meeting or has any questions or concerns, please feel free to come in to school and I will be happy to help.
During half term, Year One were challenged to create a map of the United Kingdom.
The children have produced some fantastic maps and I know that they will help us with our Geography work this half term.
A big thank you to all of the Kitchen Staff for making Friday such as success. Th e children could choose between some delicious Chinese food including, chicken curry, sweet and sour beef, stir fry and even had a fortune cookie to end the meal.
It was a huge hit with the children (and Staff!).
