Thank you to the Open the Book group who shared the first Christmas story with us.
Year 1 has a brilliant time at Temple park taking part in the South Tyneside schools’ Christmas multiskills event.
Congratulations to our winners!
Today we walked down to the church for a beautiful Christingle service. We talked about the meaning of each part of the Christingle and sang some songs together. Once all the candles were lit (glow sticks for our younger children), we turned out the lights and said a special prayer.
Thank you to Year 6 for starting off our adventure celebrations with an assembly explaining the importance of this time of year.
We look forward to spreading the advent light throughout our community.
This afternoon, Green Team enjoyed their treat for winning the most house points. The Captain and Vice-Captain requested a movie afternoon with the option to draw, so that’s exactly what they got. Well done Green Team!
Who will win next half term?
Year 5 had a fab morning being crafty!
Year 2 had a fantastic time on Christmas Craft Day!
On Wednesday, Year 3 had a visit from Mrs Chipchase who works at the word. She showed us how to use the free website, Pictoblox, to program Toby the teddy bear. We really enjoyed adding sound to our creations to help Toby play music on the stage.
We had a great time exploring the Lego Spike kits and making our robots.
