This week at Marsden Christmas preparations have begun. Our tree in the hall has been put up. A special thank you to the school council who helped decorate the tree.
We have had a brilliant morning taking part in the dance festival at the Beacon of Light.
We have some very talented dancers!

Year 1 have had a fantastic morning visiting Tesco. As part of our ‘healthy living’ topic we found out about lots of different fruit and vegetables. We also got to visit the bakery, the fridges and the very cold freezers where the temperature was -21!
We even managed to find some penguins!
Congratulations to these superstars who have worked extremely hard this week!
A special mention to Lucas, Federico and Luke who have recieved thier ‘Rock Hero’ certificate. They can answer their questions in under a second!

The Young Engineers have started to build the car and have really stuck into the role of engineers. Tools at the ready, they have used the design plan to help get on with the long process of building the car.
Oscar and Amelia work on bolting one of the side supports to the main chassis.
