A great time was had by all at the Christmas party. We even received a special visit from Santa 🎅
As part of our ‘healthy eating’ topic in DT, we have designed and made our own sandwiches.
They were delicious!!
Thank you to our fabulous kitchen staff who provided the children and staff with an amazing Christmas feast. The hall was full of festive cheer as we sang Christmas songs, enjoyed our dinners and pulled Christmas crackers together.
This year, Key Stage One and Year Three joined together for our winter production, ‘Eddie the Penguin Saves the World!’ The children were fantastic and worked so hard to learn their lines, songs and dance routines.
A special thank you to parents for the amazing costumes.
Well done everyone!
Wow! I’m at a loss for words for just how fantastic the children were in their performance of Beauty and the Beast. Everyone worked so hard and put on such a professional show.
A big thank you for all the effort that parents put into making the costumes. It really helped create the right atmosphere.
On Monday afternoon we visited Whitburn Parish Church for our annual Christingle Service.
We made our own Christingles to take to the church and we shared special songs and readings as part of our celebrations.
Do you know what the Christingle represents?
While the rest of the school attended the Christingle Service, the Nursery children who attend all day created Frostie!
We worked as a team to make him and talked about what would happen if the sun appeared.
