The Children and Staff of Marsden would like to wish Mrs Stothard good luck as she works from home and prepares for Baby Stothard!
We had a brilliant day in Year 1. This morning we enjoyed playing games, shops and solving puzzles. This afternoon we had a great time doing physical number activities and even played TT Rockstars!
EYFS have had a fantastic day investigating numbers! We found lots of numbers all around, took part in the school number hunt and even solved lots of number puzzles.

On Thursday, Y4 took some chalk outside to investigate parallel and perpendicular lines. Great work! 
I decided it was time to get some professional help in making Bedtime Stories. So I enlisted the help of some very talented actors!

We really enjoyed stretching our legs this afternoon either walking or jogging the Daily Mile. Everyone participated and tried their best. Well done Y4! 
Today we were very excited to restart our ‘Daily Mile’. We joined in with a nationwide initiative to mark the start of ‘The Daily Mile’ after lockdown. We can’t wait to start it again properly next week!
Last week Year One won the attendance award with 100%! As a reward the children had a treat afternoon. They chose to watch a film and even had sweets as a special treat.
Well done Year One, hopefully we will win again soon!
This week in Year 1 we have been looking at instructions. Today we followed instructions to bake shortbread biscuits. Mrs Stothard and Mrs Lewis were really impressed with our baking skills. The biscuits were delicious!
