Congratulations to our winners!
To end our learning of the story of “Goldilocks and The Three Bears”, Nursery children decided to become mini cooks and make our own porridge. We measured the ingredients out, mixed it together and popped it in the microwave. Then we gobbled it all up before Goldilocks could eat it.
How did it taste? It was “just right”!
Year 3 learnt the 8 points of a compass in Geography this week and used their knowledge to guide their group to the end of the trial. They drew a trail across the playground and used directional language to navigate their tem to the end. Super work Year 3!
Year 3 have proven themselves to be fractions experts this week! They investigated fractions of amounts using cubes and were able to confidently calculate answers and remainders. Great work Year 3!
In Nursery, we have had a fantastic start to the Summer term. Our new friends have settled in and we have loved being back together! 🙂
Congratulations to our winners!
The whole school celebrated Easter today by admiring our fantastic egg creations. Each class took time to visit the hall before they found out who had won in their class. All of the children worked so hard – it was very difficult for the judges to choose. Well done to everyone for taking part and a big well done to our winners!
Year 5 had interesting ideas and fantastic fun creating their excellent eggs for our school competition.
In Year 1 we had a brilliant time decorating our eggs. Mrs Lewis and myself were so impressed with the children’s ‘eggcelent’ egg creations! Well done!
