Year 2 produced fantastic final pieces of artwork at the end of their Drawing topic. They investigated tone and texture throughout the term and used their knowledge to add this to their own drawings of teddy bears. Well done Year 2!
In Year 1 and 2 we have been exploring winter. The children had a great time out in the snow!
In Geography we have started to look at our local area. We used maps to find points of interest and even looked for our houses.
Year 1 had a great party day. We played lots of different games in class, made place mats and tree decorations, enjoyed games and dancing with Year 2 in the hall, had a delicious party lunch and even saw Santa and Mrs Claus too! It was a very busy, fun day!
This week, Year One, Year Two and Year Three joined together for our Christmas production, ‘Lights, Camel, Action!’ All of the children were a fantastic and had learnt their lines and dance routines. Well done!
Year 1 has a brilliant time at Temple park taking part in the South Tyneside schools’ Christmas multiskills event.
Today we walked down to the church for a beautiful Christingle service. We talked about the meaning of each part of the Christingle and sang some songs together. Once all the candles were lit (glow sticks for our younger children), we turned out the lights and said a special prayer.
Year 2 had a fantastic time on Christmas Craft Day!
Year 2 had a fantastic time at the tennis festival!
Year 1 had a brilliant time celebrating Pudsey Bear Day. We completed the School Council colouring competition and the Pudsey challenges “25 seconds of..”, then we ended the day with a delicious Pudsey Bear biscuit.
