EYFS couldn’t believe their eyes when they arrived at school this morning. The whole of the Foundation Stage was transformed into a winter wonderland!
The teachers didn’t do it, the children didn’t do it and Mr Payne didn’t do it. So we checked the cameras and this is what we found……
Foundation Stage have had a very special visit from Santa’s Little Helpers ….
Here is some of our amazing singing along with pictures of the Nursery activities!
We have had a fantastic time celebrating National Nursery Rhyme Week 2020.
Each day we sang a different Nursery Rhyme and we linked our planning time to the rhymes too.
Our Nursery Rhymes were:
Monday – ‘The Wheels on the Bus’
Tuesday – ‘Five Little Speckled Frogs’
Wednesday – ‘Hickory Dickory Dock’
Thursday – ‘Old MacDonald had a Farm’
Friday – ‘Miss Polly had a Dolly’.
Reception were very lucky to have two special visitors today. Our school nurses came to visit us and we found out all about how to wash our hands and the importance of brushing our teeth. We listened to two stories about we also sang a special hand washing song.
Hope you all enjoy our latest story 🙂
Everyone had a great day for Children In Need. The children completed Pudsey themed activities and were treated to Pudsey biscuits at lunch time from the Kitchen Staff.
Thank you for your generosity!
We have been learning about Diwali in Foundation Stage.
We’ve had lots of fun learning about the festival of light and made our own special Diwali lamps, called diyas, as part of our celebrations.
Foundation Stage have had an excellent time learning about ‘Remembrance Day’. We’ve decorated poppy biscuits, made observational paintings of poppies, created poppy sun catchers and lots more too!
