Congratulations to the Year 5/6 girls who finished fourth out of fifteen teams in the league. It was a very close race to the finish and the girls competed strongly in every match. As a result, they have qualified for the South Tyneside Champions League in May.
Well done girls!
In DT Year 2 have created Ferriss Wheels as part of their DT unit. They designed, built and evaluated their wheels. We are so proud of their creations! Well done Year 2!
Congratulations to all our winners this year!
Another year of egg-cellent entries!
Well done to the Easter egg raffle winners in Year 1.
Year 1 have been learning all about the Easter story in RE and they made their very own Easter garden to represent this special Christian story. We put cress seeds on the soil and we will watch this grow over the Easter holidays when we take them home.
Year 1 had amazing success with our planted sunflower seeds. Everyone got to take their sunflower seedlings home to continue growing them. We can’t wait to see the flowers when they are fully grown.
Another informative assembly introducing Holy Week.
Many happy returns to Mrs Elliott on her 50th birthday!
This week, Y6 tried their hand at being heart surgeons! To learn more about the organ for their science topic, the class dissected some animal hearts and looked at how they worked.
A huge thank you to Science Buddies who guided us through this activity.
