EYFS has been magically transformed into Spooky School.
We have been exploring pumpkins with tools, brewing up potions to turn poor Mrs Elliott into a frog, changed ourselves into witches, wizards and vampires in the role play area and many more spooktacular activities.
Today, in Coach’s PE lesson, Nursery were practising their catching skills by using balloons. They used different body parts to keep the balloon in the air and tried hard to make sure the balloons never touched the floor.
We love exploring sound in the Nursery. Mrs Elliott shared one of her favourite songs called “Music, Music, Music” with the children. They needed to tap along to the music and follow the instructions.
They were fantastic!
Our music area is always popular.
Today, EYFS had a roarsome day at the Hancock Museum! We explored fossils, saw dinosaur skeletons and even touched some real dinosaur poo!!!
What was your favourite part of the day?
To finish our work on ‘The Little Red Hen’, Foundation Stage have been baking bread. We talked about the ingredients, made the dough, baked the bread in the kitchen and then we got to enjoy our hard work!

Foundation Stage had a brilliant afternoon getting to know their Year 6 buddies.
We can’t wait to have lots of fun together!
What a fantastic day we’ve had in EYFS! It has been a pleasure to watch the children showing their Grandparents around the environment. They’ve made pasta necklaces and crowns, painted beautiful pictures, decorated biscuits and hearts.
The feedback has been amazing and we are so excited to begin planning our next exciting event!

EYFS have been improving their chopping skills by cutting some harvest vegetables up to make some tasty Harvest Soup.
It was delicious!
Foundation Stage have loved exploring the natural materials, which they collected as part of their Parent Partnership. We have used the resources to create natural art, for counting and for so much more! Thank you for collecting so many amazing resources!
