I love to make patterns. You can make a pattern using almost anything! Food, cutlery, toys … the possibilities are endless. Can you tell an adult what would come next in my patterns? Can you make a pattern of your own?

The Nursery Bubble have been all about treasure today. They have made their own treasure maps, treasure chests and even managed to capture all of Captain Hanratty and Captain Elliott’s Treasure!
Ahoy! Welcome aboard the Nursery Pirate School Ship!!
We have had lots of fun this week writing messages in a bottle (our names), chased bubbles and made pirate hats, flags and telescopes.
We are looking forward to going on a treasure hunt next week.
Last night, some sneaky pirates stole the treasure from our Foundation Stage garden! They left us a secret note and a treasure map and, with a little help from Captain Lyla, Captain Clark and Captain Edwards, we were able to use the map to find our treasure hiding in the mud kitchen.
We also had a visit from Captain Swashbuckle Franks asking for his treasure to be returned immediately! We wanted to make sure that he didn’t return so we made a special spell and lots of signs warning him to stay away.
We are having lots of fun learning about pirates in Reception. We have made our own periscopes and pirate hats and we’ve also searched for buried treasure in our garden!
We’ve had a lovely first day back in Reception!
Spotted this beautiful clip and it summed up perfectly how the Foundation Stage Staff are feeling. Even when you are not in school, we are still with you EYFS ❤️
Hello Everyone!
Today we tackled the tasty treat challenge from our grid and decided to make chocolate crispy cakes. You can use any cereal to make them and they were definitely delicious.
Follow Annabelle’s instructions to make some of your own!
Don’t forget you can send in pictures to [email protected] of your creations.
We’ve had a great afternoon making our own den in the living room! I managed to get in first and tried to keep all children out. Unfortunately I was invaded and kicked out. We talked it out and decided to share the den.
Don’t forget you can comment below on the activities you have been getting up to or email us a picture at [email protected]
