Reception have had a brilliant first day back in school. We started the day with our wake-up and shake-up, we had some ‘family time’ in our small groups, and got to spend lots of time catching up with our friends too!
EYFS have had lots of fun celebrating ‘World Book Day’. We completed a special ‘Guess the Traditional Tale’ quiz, took part in the ‘Masked Reader’ and had our very own Teddy Bears’ Picnic.
EYFS Bubble have had lots of fun learning about the story of ‘Mr Wolf’s Pancakes’. We’ve designed our favourite pancakes, wrote a shopping list for Mr Wolf, carried out a super Science experiment and even had some ‘Feel Good Friday’ fun!
Yesterday, EYFS had a belated Pancake Day.
We talked about the ingredients we would need and mixed them together with a whisk. Then we picked our own topping and gobbled them all up.
EYFS thoroughly enjoyed their time out in the snow today. We talked about what we could see and feel and listened to the sounds it made when we walked on it.
They were even allowed one minute to throw snowballs at the staff 🥶
Why not give some of these activities a try to support Feel Good Friday 🙂
EYFS had a fantastic time representing number with Chinese symbols in shaving foam!
We hope you are having as much fun getting messy at home for this challenge 😁
As part of our Chinese New Year celebrations, EYFS bubble took part in some special animal races!
We also made our own music and danced using our Chinese Lion too!
Hope you all enjoy the latest Bedtime Story!
As it is National Storytelling Week, I will be adding a story to website every day.
