Year Five have been learning about Mexico in Geography. As a celebration to finish the topic we had a Mexican Fiesta. We explored traditional Mexican Food, and listened to Mexican music. On the afternoon we made Salsa, Guacamole, and Quesadillas.
We had a brilliant time and the food was delicious!

Nature Club would like you to keep an eye out for struggling wildlife, in this extreme weather.
Putting out shallow dishes of water can save lives. Be sure to put them high up for the birds and on the ground for other animals, too.
If you see an animal in need, please, call your local wildlife rescue for advice, before acting.

Year 4 loved their first lesson at Beach School!
This week, the children used their teamwork skills to build a shelter. They also enjoyed skimming stones since the conditions were perfect to practise!

Earlier this week, our school football team represented Marsden in the South Tyneside Bart Rippon Cup. We were placed in a really strong group and unfortunately didn’t qualify for the semi-finals. However, the team played superbly well and showed a great attitude in all of the matches. Well done everyone! 
Year 5 tried out the ancient Maya game Pok-A-Tok and had great fun!
