Since returning to school we have had some brilliant sporting achievements. Well done everyone I am sure we’ll have some great athletes in the future.
Year 2 have had a great time starting their Explorer topic. We found out what an explorer is and even did our own exploring.
Year 5 had a really interesting morning listening to the author S.F. Said talk about his books Varjak Paw, Phoenix and Tyger. He told us why he became an author, where he got his ideas from and we were shocked at how long it has taken him to write his books!
We can’t wait to start reading his books now!
Reception have been full of smiles as they returned back to school last week. We’ve made lots of new friendships and settled in well!
Years 5 and 6 headed to the coast this week to take part in the Great North Run Fit for the Finish event. The children participated in a 1.4km run and were rewarded with a special appearance from none other than Sir Mo Farah! Despite it being his last professional race, Sir Mo took the time to warm up with the children, share some running tips and then take some questions from the children once they were all done. We had a fabulous morning. Well done everyone!
Nursery have had a fun-filled day, making new friends and exploring the indoor and outdoor classroom!
The year wouldn’t be complete without our Staff Video to wish the Year 6 farewell!
Hope you enjoy 🙂

Congratulations to our EYFS children, who have shown that they are hardworking, independent young people and more than ready for the challenges of Year 1. We have made many lovely memories together in EYFS and we will miss you all!
