Today, Year 4 have enjoyed a practical investigation into area and perimeter of rectilinear shapes. They explored how to make the biggest and smallest perimeters using ten squares but discovered that the area would always remain the same!
The next South Tyneside Parent Carer Forum Drop In Session will take place on Wednesday 13th March 2024 at Bede Family Hub, 10am-11:30am. This is a FREE event and an opportunity to find support, or make the Forum aware of any issues parent carers may be facing within South Tyneside.
Some of our buddies represented the school fantastically at the Fab Awards at Jarrow Focus. They won the main award for their work towards antibullying. They presented poems about what buddying means to them and they were outstanding. Well done girls!
Love was in the air at our Valentines Day Discos.
As a reward for working so hard this week Year 2 designed and decorated their own pancakes. Well done Year 2, they looked delicious!
We loved chopping vegetables for Chinese stir fry, to celebrate Chinese New Year. We all thought it was delicious!
Reception had a brilliant time taking part in the Superhero sporting event. Our Sports leaders lead the activities brilliantly also and all children represented our school fantastically.
Well done!
