On Friday our Year 6 children took part in the Sandcastle challenge at South Shields.
The weather stayed fine for them and all of the children did so well.

Year 5 had an amazing day in York. They visited the railway museum, toured the city, went to the chocolate experience and played in the park!

On Friday 24th June we had out first Summer Fayre in a while. It was an outstanding success and as you can see from the photos everybody had a lovely time. Mrs Hanratty is still drying!!
We raised £3000!!!!

A large trip set off to St.Mary’s Island and the Touchpool at the Blue Reef Aquarium.
The day could not have been better, the weather was amazing, the children had a great day and everybody came back with the greatest smile.
Last week Foundation Stage, invited Mrs Clark from our kitchen to work with us while we investigated the amount of sugar in breakfast cereals.
We tasted each cereal and created tallies of our favourite cereals.
Mrs Clarke chose the blueberry wheetos with a whopping 14 g of sugar!
Last week we had the end to our Healthy living week with an amazing response to ‘Bike to Breakfast.’
The hall had a lovely community feel to it and everybody started their last day of the week with a full tummy!!
