Another fantastic night.
Today our Foundation Stage children took to the stage at the Customs House and performed their rendition of Under the Sea. It goes without saying that they were fantastic. The Marsden Teddy even got to go on stage!
Their behaviour was impeccable and they made us very proud!
The Key Stage Two dance group performed at the South Tyneside Dance Festival tonight and there can only be one word to describe them, Wow!
As always they behaved impeccably and made us so proud, well done!
Year 2 put on a fantastic assembly all about the books of Roald Dahl, in particular, The Twits! We learned so many new facts about the author as well as watching a fantastic retelling of the story.
Well Done Year 2!
Take a look at Liam from Year Four who has worked tirelessly to reach the top of our whole school TT Rockstars leaderboard. His current speed is 0.44 seconds a question! Absolutely mind-blowing! What an achievement for a nine year old. Can you imagine how quick he’ll be in Year 6? Here he is answering 135 questions correctly in a minute!
Wow! Last night, Marsden children took part in the Marsden and Whitburn’s got Talent and we managed to win in every category with Melissa taking the overall prize!
Well done Aimee-Rose, Leah-May, Fredrico, Tristan and Melissa.
Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed the Athletics Festival at Monkton Stadium and were a joy to take. They represented our school fantastically and worked extremely well as a team throughout all events. Well done Y5!
What a fantastic day! It was lovely to see all of KS2 working as a team and congratulations to the winners of KS2 – Blue Team! Thank you to everyone who came to cheer on the children and a big thank you to parents and carers who took part in the adults race.
To celebrate the end of our ‘Healthy Schools Week’ we had a special prize draw to find our ‘Healthy Superstars’.
At dinner time the children had the option to choose a healthy dessert and they then received a raffle ticket, for making a healthy choice.
Well done to our ‘healthy superstars!’
Yesterday, the Foundation Stage and Key Stage One children enjoyed an afternoon of sporting competition for Sports Day.
The children made us proud, as always. Congratulations to everyone who took part, including the parents!
