Yesterday Key Stage 2 children had a special session of sport activities.
We had a brilliant time playing team games!
We are looking forward to doing more of these sessions and bringing our parents in to join us next time.
Well done Year Three! Last week we had 100% attendance and as our reward we had a film afternoon. The film of choice was Inside Out.

Yesterday, the Nursery All Day children had a great time exploring bubbles. They made long bubbles by blowing through a covered bottle.
Rapunzel, Rapunzel, how long is your golden hair?
This problem was posed to the Nursery Suns and they set off to find out how long her hair was using cubes. The children were fully emersed in their learning using length vocabulary such as long, longer, longest, short, shorter and shortest.

Happy 50th Birthday Mrs Chrisp from your Marsden Family.
One of the final traditions the Nursery children took part in for Chinese New Year was adding wishes the Wishing Tree.
We all thought about what we would like to wish for, wrote it down and then added them to the Wishing a Tree in the garden.
Fingers crossed they all come true!
After over 30 years of service to Marsden Primary School, Mrs Clark is retiring. She’s had many roles in our school from working in the kitchen to lunchtime supervisor for our Nursery children.
I’m sure you will join the staff in wishing Mrs Clark a happy, relaxing retirement. You will be a big miss and will forever have special place in the Marsden family.
Today was Mr Thompson’s last day at Marsden. He’ll be a big miss and we’d like to thank him for all of his hard work.
