Congratulations Year 2!
I wonder what your treat will be?
Year 4 managed to get 100% attendance every day last week!
We had planned a trip to the park, but because of the thunder and lightening, unfortunately we couldn’t go.
Instead we watched Hotel Transylvania with popcorn, juice and kitkats 📹🍫🍿.
Thank you to all of parents and grandparents who come to share all of the hard work the children have completed this year. The children were so proud to show you all of their achievements.
Proud children, proud parents, proud teachers!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Reception ‘Meet the Teacher’ tonight. We are looking forward to our transition days on Thursday and Friday!
Here is the PowerPoint from the meeting, just in case you were unable to attend or if you would like to read over any of the information.
Year 4 investigated how sound travels through solids today by creating their own string telephones.
They found out that when someone talks, this caused the cup to vibrate and that the sound energy travelled through the string to the next cup.
Year 4 had a lovely day at Sandhaven Beach creating two different sandcastles, with a theme of ‘a better world’.
One group created a sandcastle inspired by the story of Noah’s Ark.
The other group focused on how everyone should be treated equally.

Thank you to everyone who came to visit our Art Gallery last week. It was a huge success and the children loved showing you all of their hard work.
