The Foundation Stage loved finding some special treasure in their garden today. Everyone found a book to read at home with their family. Once they have finished reading them they will hide them again somewhere for somebody else to find and enjoy.

The Nursery children had a great time exploring mark making using running dinosaur mud (chocolate whip)! We looked at the different footprints the dinosaurs made and created some patterns and shapes of our own using our fingers.
The best part was being able to lick our fingers at the end!
We have had a brilliant first week in Foundation Stage!

The staff at Marsden wanted to prepare a little surprise for Year 6. We hope they enjoyed our sketch and wanted to give you another chance to watch our “sensational” singing!
Wow, what an amazing show the Year 6 put on for their final Marsden production. It was an emotional rollercoaster with tears, laughter and most importantly fond memories.
A special congratulations go to Sarah-Ann on earning Mrs O’Brien’s last ever Deputy Head’s Award and Nicholas on earning the prestigious Head Teacher’s Award.

Yesterday we said goodbye to Miss Walvin. Everyone at Marsden would like to say thank you for all of her hard work and wish her all the best for the future and her impending nuptials.

Today we say goodbye to Jack and Sophie as they begin their exciting adventure to Ireland. We know they’ll make lots of new friends but we hope they stay in touch with their Marsden family.
