Congratulations to the winners this week!
Today was our annual Christingle Service and although it was a bit different to normal we had a lovely afternoon. We made Christingles, sang hymns and lit our Christingles whilst thinking about those less fortunate than us.
Year 3 have thoroughly enjoyed craft day today and have had a very productive day. We made calendars, Christmas cards and Christingles, all ready for our Christingle service. The favourite part of our day was singing Christmas songs as we completed our crafts.
Such an exciting day for Nursery as we sent off our letters to Santa today. We walked along very sensibly in our small groups.
When we arrived at the post box, we talked about what happens to our letters once we posted them and checked what time they would get picked up.
The children gave their letters one last magic wish before they started their journey to The North Pole. We were helpful elves and posted the Reception letters too.
The teachers were super proud of how well the children behaved!
EYFS couldn’t believe their eyes when they arrived at school this morning. The whole of the Foundation Stage was transformed into a winter wonderland!
The teachers didn’t do it, the children didn’t do it and Mr Payne didn’t do it. So we checked the cameras and this is what we found……
Nursery children have spent the last fortnight looking at the number 3. We looked at some of our toys and sorted them into groups of three and then had a go at using marks to represent the number three. We drew circles, lines and even tried writing the numeral.
Great job Nursery 👍🏻
Here is some of our amazing singing along with pictures of the Nursery activities!
Congratulations to the winners this week!
Year 5 had great fun finding out about the best way to filter tea leaves out of water.
The secret was to pour the water slowly through our made material filters!
