EYFS have ended the term in style by dancing the morning away at our Christmas Party. We played games, showed off our dance moves and enjoyed some yummy party food.
This afternoon we watched an animated version of the Nativity and we even received a special gift from Santa.
A good time was had by all!

Today we have continued our Christmas celebrations by making Christmas cakes in EYFS. We talked about the ingredients, helped to mix everything together and then we baked them in the oven.
We also left some special deliveries around school for our amazing staff too!
EYFS have had an amazing day visiting Winter Wonderland at Tweddle Farm. We explored the farm, fed the animals and even got to make a special Christmas wish before meeting Santa Claus!
This morning, our amazing EYFS children took to the stage for their fantastic performance of ‘Snow White’. All of the children were absolutely brilliant and it was wonderful to see so many proud faces in the audience!

We had hot chocolate and a biscuit this afternoon as special treat!
We put on our Christmas Tunes to get in the festive spirit and place our baubles on our trees. Every child made a wish and, if they stay on the good list, the wish might come true!
This morning the EYFS shared a very special treat by joining author Nick Sharrat in a Zoom call to listen to his brand new book Oh No! Shark in the Snow!
We were the very first audience to hear Nick Sharratt read this funny, festive tale, and discover all the amazing things about his Shark in the Park series. He also gave use a mini lesson in illustrating.
We loved it!
Nursery had a great time getting creative and preparing for Christmas!
EYFS staff and children couldn’t believe their eyes this morning. The classrooms had been transformed into Christmas Wonderlands! Nobody knew who had worked their magic until Mr. Payne checked the CCTV.
To celebrate World Kindness Day, the EYFS children wanted to spread some smiles and happiness around the world. We drew some happy faces and hid them around the school for people to find and spread the joy.
We also drew an extra face to take home with us and leave somewhere to see how far our smiles can spread. If you find one of our smiles, please pass it on by putting somewhere new for other to join in. The last time we tried this our smiles spread all the way to Australia, Italy and Spain! Let’s see how far they go this time!!! 😊
The Foundation Stage Staff were very impressed with how respectful the children were when learning about Remembrance Day.
