Tuesday has involved a lot of waterproofs and helmets – but it hasn’t stopped the smiles!
Day 3 – another successful night. Pouring down and windy through the night but seems to have calmed down now. Everyone is having a great time.
Internet reception is poor, so a blast of photos has come through this morning!1 Enjoy…
Year Six visited The Word in South Shields for a series of activities revolving around filming some scripts written about World War Two.
The children also had a fascinating session on constructing Lego robots and then using bluetooth to link them to i-pads.
Here are some pictures of what we did.
Two scientists from Greenshift education came into school to help Year Six find out more about keeping their heart healthy. Katie and Angela lead the class through a series of activities – they found out that our children knew quite a lot already about how the heart functions and how to keep it healthy.
Yesterday Year 3 and Year 4 had their Christmas Party. There was lots of fun, games and dancing. Everyone had a great time!
Today Year 3 went to The Word in South Shields. As it is December, to get us in the mood for Christmas we did lots of different Christmas activities. We visited Santa’s workshop and used apps to make our creations come alive.
We all had a brilliant day!
This year, Key Stage One and Year Three joined together for our Christmas production, ‘Lights, Camel, Action!’ The children were fantastic and worked so hard to learn their lines, songs and dance routines. The costumes were brilliant and the show was amazing. Well done everyone!
