Today was the Year 4 class assembly. The children performed ‘Awful Auntie’ by David Walliams.
All of the children spoke clearly and demonstrated brilliant acting skills! Well Done Year 4!

On Monday 9th July, Year 6 children along with Mr and Mrs O’Brien cycled to the sea-front at South Shields and back in an event organised by the local community police.
Children from Whitburn Primary also took part and around 90 children cycled in a line along the cycle route to Minchella’s for an ice-cream.
Mr. Roberts (Cery’s Dad) came along too and, with the police and teachers he helped to make sure that the children got there and back safely.

Massive congratulations to the the Year 5/6 girls football team who topped the South Tyneside league!
A massive achievement which was well deserved.
Well done girls and thank you to Mrs Carr, Mrs Potter and Mrs Davies for helping to organise and attend the matches.
Today was Mrs Carr’s last day before leaving to start her maternity leave.
I’m sure you’ll all join us in wishing her all the best and to enjoy the time preparing for her little bundle of joy!

The Key Stage Two dance group performed at the South Tyneside Dance Festival tonight and there can only be one word to describe them, Wow!
As always they behaved impeccably and made us so proud, well done!
Take a look at Liam from Year Four who has worked tirelessly to reach the top of our whole school TT Rockstars leaderboard. His current speed is 0.44 seconds a question! Absolutely mind-blowing! What an achievement for a nine year old. Can you imagine how quick he’ll be in Year 6? Here he is answering 135 questions correctly in a minute!
Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed the Athletics Festival at Monkton Stadium and were a joy to take. They represented our school fantastically and worked extremely well as a team throughout all events. Well done Y5!
What a fantastic day! It was lovely to see all of KS2 working as a team and congratulations to the winners of KS2 – Blue Team! Thank you to everyone who came to cheer on the children and a big thank you to parents and carers who took part in the adults race.
