Year 4 children had a great time sharing a book with some of the children from Year 2. They showed off their talents writing storyboards and designing ‘WANTED’ posters of fairy tale villains. Overall it was a great day!
We had a great time with our Year 3 friends!
Year 3 were fantastic helpers today by sharing stories with the Nursery children. They used enthusiastic expression and involved the children by asking them questions about the illustrations.

Another fantastic year for World Book Day. It was lovely to see so many of the children, and staff, in their amazing costumes!
Well done to all of the girls who played football today at Hebburn Comprehensive School!
Despite it being very cold, they played brilliantly and won both matches.
Final scores:
Marsden Primary 3 – 2 Mortimer
Marsden Primary 3 – 0 St. Matthews
Year Three have had a brilliant day, celebrating World Book Day! All of the children looked fantastic. Our book for the day was Ninja Little Red Riding Hood.
We designed our own book covers, shared stories with Nursery, did some yoga and made bunting for our local library.
As apart of National Science Week, each class has been doing some additional science work. Year 3 completed an investigation about parachutes. They had a design and create a parachute to save Bob from falling. Each team worked really hard and it was lovely to see everyone’s different designs. The winners were Izzy, Lewis, Daisy and Sam.
Well Done Year 3!
Yesterday Key Stage 2 children had a special session of sport activities.
We had a brilliant time playing team games!
We are looking forward to doing more of these sessions and bringing our parents in to join us next time.
