Well done Lego builders!
We are just over 12 hours away from heading to Thurston and I hope you’re all as excited as we are! The weather forecast predicts that we will see snow when we’re away so remember to pack lots of layers and a hat and gloves to stay warm!
Have a good nights sleep and we will see you bright and early in the morning, ready for our adventure to begin!
Year 5 had four special visitors from Year 2 today. They came to tell us all about their research about famous London landmarks as they knew we are visiting this city very soon. We were very impressed with the facts they told us about London Bridge, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. It’s made us even more excited about our trip to London!
Before the holidays, we hosted our annual art gallery. If you missed it here is a video tour guide to see the fantastic pieces.
Well done everyone!
Natasha from Seven Stories came to Year 5 to inspire and support our creative writing skills. We played word games, explored Michael Morporgo archive material, found out about Joey the horse from reading some of War Horse, and explored some interesting objects to write about.
The children loved the experience and became truly immersed in their writing.
