Practice is going very well – what a sound!!
we are on our way – such an exciting day
Today, Year 4 have enjoyed a practical investigation into area and perimeter of rectilinear shapes. They explored how to make the biggest and smallest perimeters using ten squares but discovered that the area would always remain the same!

Love was in the air at our Valentines Day Discos.
Reception had a brilliant time taking part in the Superhero sporting event. Our Sports leaders lead the activities brilliantly also and all children represented our school fantastically.
Well done!
Thank you to everyone who attended the meeting last night.

This week, our Year 6 Sports Leaders led a game of Bench Ball for our Year 2 pupils.
They have worked so hard to develop their confidence and leadership skills this half term.
On Thursday 1st February, Year 4 visited the Discovery Museum in Newcastle. We spent the morning exploring the museum and then took part in a fantastic workshop to find out more about sound and how it travels. We had lots of fun and learned so much about our current science topic!
Andy’s Mam has ordered far too many toys – can Y6 work out how many of each toy Andy has?
There are 14 heads and 36 legs. How many of the toys are Rex and how many are Bullseye?
Well done for finding the solution before applying your knowledge to the next challenge Y6!
