Reception and Year 3 had a fantastic morning gutting fish and investigating the features of them. We used knives to dissect the fish and find the skeletons inside – we were all brilliant fishmongers! We also made clay fish, drew fish and labeled each of the features including a sentence explaining their purpose. We all had a brilliant morning – Well done everyone!
Good Morning!!
Everyone is very excited and looking forward to their breakfast stop!!
Well done to our Year 6 football team who faced all weather conditions during tonight’s matches against Hedworth Lane B and Biddick Hall Juniors.
Year 3 loved using their historical enquiry skills to step back in time to the stone age! They took part in a wide variety of activities with put the history, art and dt skills to the test.
What was your favourite part of the day?
Year 5 had a very exciting visitor today ready for their trip to London!!
All children had a brilliant time at the Easter disco!
In Year Four we have been making ‘slingshot’ cars. We built a wooden chassis and launch mechanism and then designed and assembled our own car body. The children have worked so hard and are very proud of their finished products. Now to test them out…….!

Year 5 have had a fantastic day completing the ‘Mountain Team Challenge’. They worked together to develop their teamwork, communication and perseverance skills in preparation for their trip to London.
Year 5 had a great day ‘reading their way’ throughout World Book Day. We took part in a book token designing competition as well as a book quiz. We made character wooden spoons, read by ourselves and with Year 1 children, and we got our special WBD books to take home.
A special thank you must go out to the Year 5 children who set up and ran the WBD book stall exceptionally well.
