This term Year One are learning about perspective in Art.
We had a fantastic afternoon exploring perspective and the children produced some amazing artwork.
Years One, Two and Three had a fantastic morning developing their cricket skills with Liam from All Stars Cricket.
Last week our Year 2 children enjoyed an action packed afternoon at Temple Park. They took part in South Tyneside’s athletic event, along with other schools. There was lots of running, jumping and team games. A great time was had by all!
Some of our Year 2 children took part in South Tyneside’s music festival at the Customs House on Thursday 22nd March. They worked together with other schools to perform the musical ‘Metamorphosis’.
We have amazingly talented children at Marsden, who were dazzling stars on the night. Well done!
Key Stage One and Year Three had a fantastic time taking part in ‘All Stars Cricket’.
Liam taught us lots of new skills and we had so much fun!
Year 2 were so lucky to have Ranger Rob from ZooLab and his rainforest animals visit us in class. It was amazing learning more about the animals in their natural habitat and of course we got to hold them!
In Year 2, we loved dressing up as book characters and sharing stories with Year 6 on World Book Day.
In response to Mr Silly’s special World Book Day story, we decided to create our own Mr Men or Little Miss characters and write our own stories about them. What great imaginations and authors we have in Year 2!
We had a fantastic time dressing up as our favourite characters for World Book Day.
We had an exciting morning, reading with our friends in Year Five and designing our own book covers. Then we got to make our own pirate treasure maps in the afternoon. It was a great day!
