This week in Year 1 we are exploring pumpkins. Today we investigated our 4 pumpkins that had mysteriously arrived in our class. For Maths we estimated how many seeds we thought would be in each pumpkin. It was brilliant fun!
Year One have loved reading Lost and Found by Oliver Jeffers. Today we used puppets to act out the story. We were amazing and had brilliant expression.

In Year 1 we have been learning about instructions, as part of the topic we had to follow instructions to make our own jam sandwich. We had lots of fun and they were delicious

Last week in Year 1 we read “Silly Billy” by Anthony Browne. We really enjoyed the story and have made our own worry dolls to keep our worries away.

Key Stage One had lots of fun doing a HITT workout today.
We have some super fit children in our school and it definitely made up for our postponed Sports Day!
Last week, Year 2 performed Croak as part of their class assembly. All of the children sang beautifully and said their words clearly. It was amazing!
