Wanted: Tree-planting volunteers to help the school establish a wildlife area that may in time become a small woodland.

We began planting shrubs on the northern edge of the school field this spring in the hope of creating a wildlife area. We are now ready to expand this project.

The school has on order for delivery in November 150+ tree and bush saplings.

We need volunteers (with their own garden spades) TO HELP US TO PREPARE THE HOLES AND PLANT some of the trees with the children.

We would like to do this on the morning of WEDNESDAY 22ND NOVEMBER.
Anyone with green fingers should leave their names at the school office for this.

We are also collecting plastic water bottles (we need 200) to protect the saplings from rabbits. If anyone can help with this then please let us know.
