On Friday we will be holding a short remembrance service in school for the children at eleven o’clock for Armistice day. This year I would like to help the children think about people who are close to them who have given their lives to keep our country safe. Each class is making their own poppy wreath to share in the short service, but I am hoping you will be able to help us to make the service even more special.
Could I ask if you would like the name of one of your family member or friends mentioned who either lost their lives during either World War or one of the other major conflicts our country has fought in, could you please either put their name on a piece of paper and hand it into to the office or give us a call before Thursday night.
Thank you for your help
