This week I’ve had to swap algebra and Y6 GPS for counting in tens and Phase 5 phonics. It’s been quite an adjustment but we are making progress! Today, we used the YouTube videos from ‘Phonics with Adele’ and Phonics Play to learn about the ‘ow’ sound and the daily White Rose Maths lesson to find out about equal groupings. We are finding these resources very helpful!
I am missing school, staff and children terribly (especially my Year 6 class) and can’t wait to get back to normal. Hopefully I can leave the phonics to Mrs Stothard very soon!

Lots of you will have fallen for a prank this morning with it being April Fool’s Day but spare a thought for poor Dylan and Jack. They were tricked into believing they were returning to school, so they got up, had their breakfast and put on their uniform only to be told it was a joke 😂

Today Lainee and Rhys got bits of different coloured paint from the shed. Mixed them all together and painted the dining room.
