This week, Year Four began exploring structure and texture in music. They used body percussion to recreate the piece “Pitter, Patter Raindrops”.
Year Five are making amazing progress with their brass instruments and even began learning to read music in today’s lesson. Well done Year 5!
Our Rocksteady Bands put on a show-stopping performance for school and families last week. We were so impressed by the process the bands have made.
This week Year 3 took part in South Tyneside Music Festival and performed “The Vicious Vikings”
The children have loved taking part in the performance and were as asset to our school.
Every child was a superstar and made me very proud!

Today, our Choir, along with 9 other primary schools in the North East, competed for the Choir of the Year.
We sang beautifully and were awarded Highly Commended

This morning, our Rocksteady Bands put on a perfect performance for the whole school and parents. Everyone was very impressed with how the children kept in time to the music and there was also some sensational singing.
