Last week, Y6 took part in a RAP safety event. The sessions were designed to ensure the children stay safe as they become older, more independent and are more likely to be out in the community unaccompanied. The children had a great afternoon and learned lots of useful information.
Congratulations to our winners!
Congratulations to all of the children who managed 100% attendance this half term and to our Y5 cyclists who passed stage 2 of bike ability!
We made the most of the sunshine and non-uniform day by having a lovely picnic outside.
It’s the return of our annual Marsden Art Show!
Another year where the children have truly showcased their amazing artistic skills.
This half term, in PE, Y5 have been learning about Netball. Our main focus has so far been on the three main passes: chest pass, shoulder pass and bounce pass. Check out our moves.
Once we were confident in passing, we moved on to footwork and defending.
SAT’s are over!!!!!! To celebrate, Y6 left behind the classroom in favour of swimming, bowling, golf and pizza!
To finish off our angles and shape unit, Y5 were challenged to make their own 3D shape using art straws. They needed to make sure they measured and cut the straws accurately so that the shape had the correct properties.
