EYFS have been celebrating Diwali! We’ve made lanterns, diya lamps and created our own mehndi patterns too!
We loved learning about the festival of light.
We have started our new topic around animals. We became scientists and looked at different habitats. Then we decided to make a bug hotel! Lots of us enjoyed finding bugs and we were very brave! We found spiders, snails, woodlouse and worms!

We have had a brilliant week creating spooky mummies, exploring our amazing pumpkins and making spooky spells!
Great game playing again on Spelling Shed this week. Well done to our leading spellers in each class.
Please find below our Newsletter for this half term.

Everyone at Marsden would like to say a big thank you for all the kind donations for our Harvest Festival. All donations will be given to Hospitality and Hope.
The children sang their harvest songs beautifully in the church this afternoon. We’d also like to thank Whitburn Church for hosting and our special guest, Mr O’Brien, for playing the piano for us.
