After our visitor Percy arrived at school with all his animals, we found some surprises they left for us around the school! It was our job to work out which animal made each mess by looking at if they were a herbivore, carnivore or omnivore. We were all super scientists and managed to figure out that the Polar bear left the mess in our room on Miss Kane’s chair!
We jumped right into our new book “One Snowy Night” and experienced what it would be like to be outside in the cold by walking through snow and jumping into icy water! We then warmed ourselves up by the fire and drank some hot chocolate, just in time to read our new story together.

This morning, PSCO Holly Madsen visited Year 6 to teach us about how to keep ourselves safe online. We found out all about age limits for apps, negative and positive aspects of the internet and how we can use privacy settings to protect personal information. Holly also spoke to use about consequences for making inappropriate content and what to do if we come across it. We all learned so much!
What an exciting afternoon! We loved shopping for our toys! Then we came back to class and played with them. We had roller skates, soft toys, robots, hairdressers, trains, cars, magic wands, paints and more! Thank you to everyone who donated toys for today and for sending in some money for your children.
