To start the new term, the blogging club have started started to work with code. Computer coding is how characters in your favourite game know how to move. We build up a set of instructions, called an algorithm, which tell the computer what to do.
The best toy fair ever!! by Jessica Y5
Last week we had a toy fair on Friday 27th November 2015! This toy fair started at 1:00 and ended at 2:45. This toy fair was our first ever fair so I assume that everyone had a good time! Because we had a toy fair, we raised £424.23! 🙂 There were books, games, dolls and much more. As this took place in the hall, I thank Mrs C Marshall for letting us have a fair and all the staff for helping set up the toy fair. I also thank all the children for bringing toys to our fantastic school! If you children didn’t bring any toys, there would have never been a toy fair. I wish we can have did this exiting fair every day, but unfortunately we don’t have enough toys for everyone and it will cost too much money for parents. Did you enjoy the toy fair????? I hope you will tell me your opinion and then we can try to convince Mrs Marshall to have another toy fair next year!
The Pantomime by Paige Y6
The school is attending Aladdin on the 15th of December 2015. Year 6 are taking reception as little buddies and will be looking after them as the pantomime takes place. We will leave the school at 1:00 and will arrive back to school around about 5:00.The pantomime is going to be at the Sunderland Empire. This is a fun event that Mrs Marshall and staff have organised for Christmas.

School Dinners By Jack Y5
The school dinners are lovely at Marsden. The dinner ladies are the most kind, polite and cheerful people. When I walk to get my dinner they always brighten up my day.
They make the best fish and chips in the world.Better than Gill’s. There is a choice of chicken in a wrap ,pizza,or turkey in a bun.
What’s your favourite school lunch?
