In EYFS we celebrated Lunar New Year by making spring rolls and stir fry. We loved making them and loved eating them even more.
We then learnt a dragon dance and performed it around our Garden outside. 
The children (and staff!) had a fabulous time taking part in the sponsored bounce.
Craft club have been embracing the cultural celebration of Lunar New Year by making some dazzling dragon masks!

Today Year 3 completed a smartie maths lesson and investigated various multiplication and division facts using the smarties. Strangely, the smarties disappeared after the lesson!
Year 3 have been investigating the vanishing village of Marsden. This week we enjoyed looking through all of the artifacts and making a fact file.

We ended the term with a beautiful service, thinking about the true meaning behind the celebration.
We also thanked Mrs Coffey for her time and hard work in organising the choir.
