We also wished Jack a fond farewell as he moves on to a new school.

This week we have learning all about Diwali. We loved our visit from Sid, who told us all about his Diwali celebrations in his family.
This week in Year 2 we have been investigating a pumpkin. We estimated how many seeds would be in the pumpkin and had to find out the best way to count them. It was great fun!
We found there was 450 seeds in our pumpkin and we counted them in groups of ten!
We had a fantastic time at our Halloween Disco!
Thank you to the school council for giving up their break time to help Janice set up the kitchen area for the Halloween Dinner. They were rewarded with a delicious spooky cake
After our mental health day, our planters are now ready and the garden is complete!!
Congratulations to everyone who was successful in becoming a playtime buddy! We know you will make sure our school motto of “Everyone Cares, Everyone Matters” is shown every lunchtime towards our younger children.
Thank you to Mrs Marshall’s mam for making every class in school some terrific Tiny turtles to match with our maths work. We know every single Tiny will be cherished and impressed with the magical mathematicians in each class.
