Today the Nursery PM and 30 Hours children explored bubbles. We used material to cover cups with a hole in the top and blew into the cup. This was created a foam flame 🔥
As you can see, everyone loved this activity.
Nursery AM and 30 Hours children are becoming very confident gymnasts. This half term we have been focusing on jumping and rolling.
Yesterday, we listened to the creation story from a group at Whitburn Church called “Open the Book”.
We are so excited for our next visit.

We have been looking at Fairy Tales in Year One and have really enjoyed exploring our areas within the classroom.
Last week, Year 6 visited Safety Works in Newcastle to learn about being safe around gas, dogs and to find out what happens when you get arrested! We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit – apart from those who managed to get themselves arrested!
Today, Year 6 took part in a fantastic Science workshop, led by Green Shift Education. In the first session, we found out all about healthy beating, how to maintain a healthy heart and even got a chance to make and try fruit smoothies!
In the second session, we got hands-on with lamb’s hearts! Some of us were more keen than others but everybody joined in and discovered lots of interesting things about this incredible organ!
