🍬Sweetie Sorting🍬

Nursery have been “smartie” pants in number today.

They looked at smarties and sorted them by colour. Some children sorted them onto coloured circles while other children sorted them onto a graph, making their own bar chart. Once we had sorted them we compared amounts using “most” and some “least”.

As sweets aren’t allowed in school, we didn’t eat a single one! 😉

🥞Pancake Pandemonium🥞

The Foundation Stage had a great time today helping Mr Wolf to make pancakes. We used a whisk to mix together eggs, flour and milk into a batter.

We watched them being flipped high up in the air before moving to the topping station. The children put their own topping on and then gobbled them up! 60 pancakes and only 1 dropped  so a very successful day!

  • These rockstars made our leaderboard for making the effort, getting online and playing! Over the holidays, we have a Girls v Boys Battle of the Bands scheduled so keep a look out and get playing! Who will come out on top?

🏃‍♂️ The Daily Mile 🏃‍♀️

After the half-term holidays we will be participating in ‘The Daily Mile’. This involves fifteen minutes of movement every day and supports brain development and concentration skills within the classroom. We had a special assembly to launch ‘The Daily Mile’ and then had lots of fun outside!
