Here is one of our favourite EYFS stories, “Monkey Puzzle” by Julia Donaldson!
Just a reminder that there are still time slots available for the EYFS Open Day on Thursday 3rd September.
On the day, you will enter school through the staff car park and wait in the Foundation Stage garden until a member of staff brings you into the classroom where hand sanitiser will be available.
For everyone’s safety, please maintain 2m apart from other families and staff.
To ensure that everyone has the chance to access the day safely, time slots will be 10 minutes each.
If you are unable to attend the day or have any further queries after your visit, you can contact me at [email protected]

Hello Everyone!
I hope you are having a great summer holiday and enjoying the sun, when it makes an appearance.
Thanks to one of our lovely parents, Arthur Banks, we have a fantastic virtual tour of the Foundation Stage environment.
We would like you to share the tour with your children so they have a better understanding of what to expect in September.
All you have to do is click on the link below.
If you have any questions you can contact me via email at [email protected]
As we approach the beginning of the academic year, the Foundation Stage Staff recognise that there will be a lot of nervous children (and parents!) who are unsure about returning or starting school.
With this in mind, we would like to offer you the opportunity to book a socially distanced visit to come and look around the Reception classroom and ask staff any final questions you may have. You will enter school through the staff car park and wait in the Foundation Stage garden until a member of staff brings you into the classroom where hand sanitiser will be available.
To ensure that everyone has the chance to access the day safely, time slots will be 10 minutes each. If you are unable to attend the day or have any further queries after your visit, you can contact me at [email protected]

We are very excited to meet you all and start our learning journey together!

Here is another little bedtime story for you.
Which animal would you like the zoo to send you?
Special request from Willow. Hope you enjoy it 🙂
Please enjoy these videos to celebrate our special Year 6 class.
They have created their own music video to mark moving on from primary school.
We have also created a video to show how much they have grown.
Finally, it wouldn’t be the end of an academic year without a staff video!
Today, we had an emotional assembly to celebrate the achievements of our fantastic Year 6 children.
Awards were given for Thurston and the football and netball team.
Special awards included our Head Teacher Award given to Alex and our Deputy Head Teacher Award which was given to Oscar S and Evan.
All of the children received a signed cushion, a Marsden 2020 yearbook, a DVD of special memories and a wish bracelet.
There is also a goodbye message from Mrs Davies who unfortunately couldn’t be there to say goodbye to our Year 6 today.
