On Wednesday 25th November, Year Two took part in a mini tennis festival at Temple Park. All the children worked in groups, with coaches, to improve different tennis skills.
On Wednesday 25th November, Year Two took part in a mini tennis festival at Temple Park. All the children worked in groups, with coaches, to improve different tennis skills.
Year Two children enjoyed a visit from Kevin and Kevin, from Smooth Radio, on Monday 2nd November. This was in conjunction with Northumbria Water.
The children were shown the importance of being careful about what we put down our drains. They made Dwain “The Drain” Pipe magnets, with three children winning goodie bags for their designs.
To help everyone learn the music for the KS1 Christmas production I have uploaded the music for you to learn.
Year 1 have been getting creative with some seasonal art work. They collected fallen leaves from around the school grounds to make these fantastic trees.
They look brilliant Year 1, well done!
In Y2 we have been learning about the Great Fire of London.
We have made bread, like Thomas Farriner, as well as making old paper and writing a diary entry, like Samuel Pepys.
The children have also been gardening with Mrs Davies
