In Year 2 we have been looking at Christopher Columbus and his epic voyage. To conclude our topic we used loose parts to create our own Christopher Columbus ships.

In Year Two we have been looking at the text Beegu. To finish our unit we are going to be writing our own alien story and have created some fantastic aliens. We designed them and have used watercolors to bring our ideas to life. They look fantastic!
Year 2 are loving having a class pet and have been finding out how to take care of them.
Year 2 have had a great time starting their Explorer topic. We found out what an explorer is and even did our own exploring.
This morning Year 2 heard a loud metal bang and Mr Payne alerted us to a strange object on the yard. Year 2 bravely went to investigate and found it was a crashed spaceship. We wrote letters to alert the rest of the school and are carrying out more investigations

Reception, Year One and Year Two had a brilliant morning participating in Sports Day. The children took part in a range of events and it was amazing to see everyone having lots of fun.
